Headline: Delhi Telephone Company’s Meet & Greet Events Result in Over $11,000 in Donations to Local Fire Departments in 2019
Delhi Telephone Company sponsored four Meet & Greet events throughout 2019. The Meet & Greets were held at local fire departments or town halls where area residents were invited to enjoy a free lunch and learn about the fiber optic services that are now available in their communities.
The events featured free lunch, raffles, and the ability to sign up for services with a customer service representative. For each residence that signed up for new services, within a specified time frame, Delhi Telephone Company donated $25 to the respective fire department.
Delhi Telephone Company has partnered with the Sidney Center Fire Department, Trout Creek Fire Department, Masonville Fire Department, Masonville Branch Library, and the Franklin Fire Department. Donations to these organizations totaled $11,125.
Delhi Telephone Company is proud to continue the expansion of fiber optic services in Delaware County and to be partnering with fellow community organizations. Delhi Telephone Company plans to continue Meet & Greets in other municipalities once fiber service is complete.
